Who we are
Coastal Labs is, well, me.
I'm Kieran, a software engineer and entrepreneur based in the Friendly City of Port Elizabeth. I started Coastal Labs in 2025 to help businesses of all sizes grow and succeed online.
I have a genuine passion for giving entrepreneurs and business owners the tools they need to succeed — and for making our little corner of the world a bit better while I'm at it.
I'd seen too many small businesses stuck in the past: no website, no online presence, running entirely on word of mouth and paper. I wanted to help them step into the digital space, grow their brand, and reach customers they'd otherwise never meet.
That same instinct is what pulled me toward the software side of the business. The businesses that needed a website often needed something behind the scenes too — a better way to manage bookings, stock or jobs than a spreadsheet only one person understands. Coastal Labs exists to build both.
